🔒 How to Make Your Palworld Server Private

If you want to limit who can join your Palworld server, you can easily make it private by setting a server password.

Only players with the password will be able to connect - keeping your world safe and exclusive to your chosen group.

⚙ Configuring a Server Password

Set up your password through your ChipHead control panel in just a few steps:

  1. Log in to the ChipHead Panel.

  2. Stop your server.

  3. Navigate to Configuration> Game Config.

  4. Under Startup, enter desired password in the Sever Password field.

  5. Save changes.

  6. Start your server.

The next time you or others attempt to join your server, you’ll be prompted to enter the password before connecting - effectively making your Palworld server private.

Join your Palworld server with new server password

  1. Launch Palworld.

  2. Click "Join Multiplayer Game".

  3. Enter your server address (IP:Port) into the Direct Connect box.

  4. Check "Enter password".

  5. Click “Connect”.

  6. Input the server password and select “ok”.
