Before you can use any commands in Satisfactory, you’ll first need to open the in-game console. This is typically done by pressing the tilde (~) key on your keyboard. If you’re unsure how to enable or access the console, check out our guide: How to Access the In-Game Console in Satisfactory.
Inside the Satisfactory console, you can type a question mark (?) without pressing Enter. This will display a long list of all available commands along with a short description for each one.
You can navigate this list using the up and down arrow keys.
Keep in mind that there are more than 3,000 commands in total, so it’s not the most practical way to find a specific one. The list below highlights some of the most useful general and graphical commands you can use.
General Commands |
|
Command | Description |
Stat FPS | Toggles the FPS counter on the right side of your screen. |
t.MaxFPS <VAL> | Sets a maximum frame rate. Setting it to 0 removes the cap entirely. |
ToggleDebugOverlay | Displays a detailed debug overlay showing information like position, playtime, and in-game time. |
Suicide | Instantly respawns your character—useful if you become stuck somewhere. |
Graphical Commands |
|
Command | Description |
r.ViewDistanceScale <SCALE> | Adjusts how far objects (like trees, rocks, and grass) are rendered. Default value is 1. |
r.Atmosphere <0/1> | Turns the atmosphere effects on (1) or off (0). |
r.Fog <0/1> | Enables or disables fog. |

These commands are especially useful for optimizing your gameplay experience, improving performance, or troubleshooting visual issues on your ChipHead Satisfactory server.
