Enabling Cheat Commands on Your Garry’s Mod Server

Guide on how to turn on cheats for GMOD

Cheats in Garry’s Mod unlock a range of powerful and fun commands, including god mode, noclip, and notarget. These commands are not only useful for gameplay and creativity but also for moderation - letting admins observe players undetected or test features without interference. Cheats can even adjust gameplay physics, like gravity or camera view, for extra variety.


Enabling Cheats on Your Server

Follow these steps to enable cheat commands through the ChipHead Panel:

  1. Log in to your ChipHead Panel.

  2. Start your server.

  3. Go to the Console tab.

  4. Type the following command and press Enter:

    sv_cheats 1
