How To Join Your DayZ Server

Summary

DayZ is a tense survival-horror experience set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the infected. Hosting your own DayZ server lets you and your friends decide whether to work together to survive or turn on each other in the struggle for dominance.

Before connecting to your server, make sure you have your Server IP Address handy.

Joining Your Server via Direct Connect

You can connect directly to your DayZ server using its IP address and port.

1. From the launcher, navigate to the SERVERS tab.

   

2. Click Direct Connect.

   

3. Enter your server’s IP address, port, and password (if one is set).

   

4. Click Connect to join.
   

   

   (Optional) - Click the checkbox “Add to favorites” to save your server for later!
   

That’s it you’re now connected and ready to explore, survive, and thrive in your DayZ world.
