Installing SourceMod on your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

Installing SourceMod

To install SourceMod on your Left 4 Dead 2 server, you’ll need to download and upload the required files to your server directory.

1. Log in to the ChipHead Control Panel.

   

2. Stop your server.

   

3. Visit the SourceMod website and download the latest Linux version.

   

4. Once downloaded, go back to your ChipHead Panel & open “Files”

   

5. Upload your downloaded SourceMod folder to the panel.

   

6. Unarchive your folder:

   
   

   Your files will automatically be moved to the correct locations

7. Go to the VDF Generator website.

   

8. Generate a metamod.vdf file for Left 4 Dead 2.

9. Move the newly created metamod.vdf file into “Addons\Metamod”

   

10. Start your server.
