How to add a Password to Your ARMA Reforger Server

Making your Arma Reforger server private ensures that only approved players can join. This is perfect for private matches, role-play sessions, or exclusive communities. You can either add a password or hide your server from the public browser.

Setting a Server Password

You can quickly add a password to your Arma Reforger server through the ChipHead panel.

1. Open your ChipHead control panel.

   

2. Stop your server.

   

3. Go to Startup > Variables.

   

4. Locate the Server Password field and enter your desired password.

   
   

   Your changes will automatically save.

5. Start/Restart your server.

   

Hiding Your Server from the Browser

You can also keep your server private by removing it from the in-game browser.

1. Open your ChipHead control panel.

   

2. Stop your server.

   

3. Go to Startup > Variables.

   

4. Scroll down and find the Visible in Server Browser and toggle this off (if not already).

   
   

   Your changes will automatically save.

5. Start/Restart your server.

   

Your server will now be private, accessible only to players with the password or direct connection details.
