How to Add Custom Cars on an Assetto Corsa Server

Note: All players must have the same mods installed as the server.
  1. Download a custom car.

    There are many websites you can download custom cars but we like Overtake.gg
  2. Extract the compressed file to a folder and minimize the folder for later use.

  3. Log in to the Assetto Corsa server web panel (Link provided via console).

  4. Under Content, select Cars & Setups.

  5. Drag and drop the folder from step 3 or click the “Choose a folder” button

  6. Click UPLOAD CAR(S).

  1. Download a custom car

  2. Run Content Manager.

  3. Drag and drop the compressed file into Content Manager.

  4. Click the three lines icon in the top-right corner.

  5. Under Downloads, click Install.

  6. Launch Assetto Corsa to use your new cars.

How to Add Custom Cars on an Assetto Corsa Client (Manual Installation)

  1. Download a custom car.

  2. Extract the compressed file to a folder.

  3. Review the extracted contents — file structure may vary by mod.

  4. Minimize the folder for later use.

  5. Right-click Assetto Corsa in Steam, hover over Manage, and select Browse Local Files.

  6. Open the content folder.

  7. If the extracted files include a cars folder, drag and drop all files directly into the content folder OR If there’s no cars folder, open content/cars and drop the car’s folder there.

  8. Launch Assetto Corsa to test the newly installed car.
