Don’t Starve Together dedicated servers offer a variety of admin commands that allow server owners to manage gameplay, players, and world settings. These tools are essential for maintaining order, helping players, and customizing your game experience.
Admins can use commands through the in-game developer console.
Open the console by pressing the ~ (tilde) key (found to the left of the 1 key).
Make sure the console is set to Remote Mode so that commands are sent to the server. If it’s in Local Mode, press CTRL to switch modes.
Enter and send the command you want to use.
There are many admin commands available in Don’t Starve Together, but here are some of the most commonly used ones every server owner should know:
c_godmode() | c_supergodmode() | Toggles god mode. This makes your character invincible. The c_supergodmode() command also restores all stats to full and keeps them that way until turned off. |
c_listallplayers() | — | Lists all connected players, showing their usernames and player numbers. If this command doesn’t work, try using its alternate version to print the player list into the in-game chat. |
c_despawn(AllPlayers[]) | — | Despawns a player and returns them to the character selection screen. Replace PLAYER NUMBER with the player’s number, which can be found using c_listallplayers(). |
